Our kisaan (farmers) are the most ignored and underrated cogs of the machine our country represents. India is not only run by the politicians, businessmen, celebrities it also stands on the farmers. They are the pillars. Agriculture contributes to about 18% of the GDP. They are not celebrated for their achievements, they do not get awards for growing food for the citizens but still they work day and night to provide something without which survival is impossible.
We at KeyShaan stand to support them. We want them to live a happy life and not suffocate by the burden of debt. They should be recognized, their stories should be told. People living in cities are not aware of where their food comes from. Visit a village. Talk to the small farmers. You'll learn about their hardships. What they go through on a daily basis, doing the most noble work without asking for fame.
Our kisaan deserve respect. And it is our duty to help them grow. They have the will, the land, the experience, all they need is a little support from you & me. This venture is dedicated to them, it is by the farmer, for the farmer, of the farmer!
